Healing Horizons Counseling, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “the practice”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit this website. This marketing website does not collect, store, or transmit any protected health information (PHI).

Contact form submissions are processed through a third-party service (Formspree) and are used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell or share your contact information with third parties for marketing purposes.

This website may use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand how visitors interact with our content. These tools collect anonymized data such as page views and session duration. No personally identifying information is collected through analytics.

HIPAA Compliance

Healing Horizons Counseling, LLC complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). All clinical records and protected health information are managed through our secure Electronic Health Records (EHR) system — Therapy Notes ® — which is fully HIPAA-compliant.

This public-facing website is a “stewardship tool” only. No clinical data, session records, or PHI is stored or processed on this site. All scheduling and clinical communication occurs within our secure EHR portal.

Confidentiality

Everything shared in the context of a therapeutic relationship is held in strict confidence. Karla Del Carmen Dupre, LPC adheres to the ethical standards of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and Tennessee state law regarding confidentiality.

There are limited exceptions to confidentiality required by law, including: imminent risk of harm to self or others, suspected abuse of a minor or vulnerable adult, and court orders. These exceptions will be reviewed with you during your first session.

Cancellation Policy

We ask that clients provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be subject to a late cancellation fee.

We understand that life is unpredictable. If something unexpected arises, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your situation.

Informed Consent

Prior to beginning therapy, clients will receive and review an Informed Consent document that outlines the nature of the therapeutic relationship, confidentiality policies, fee structure, and your rights as a client. This document is provided through our secure EHR portal.
